FABF RETIREMENT CHECK DEDUCTION

Chicago Fire Department Retirees

Chicago Fire Department retirees, who receive retirement benefits through Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago, can give to the Ende, Menzer, Walsh & Quinn Retirees’, Widows’ and Children’s Assistance Fund  by deduction from their retirement check.
  • You pledge a specific amount which is then deducted from your check.
  • Your pledge is renewed automatically at the beginning of each year so you don't have to complete a pledge every year.
  • You may cancel or redirect your pledge at any time by notifying the FABF office.
  • Your contributions are tax-deductible.
  • You can determine your annual contribution by referring to your pay statements.

A small difference in your retirement check can make a big difference in the lives of CFD families in need.
